Incoming & Outgoing | Jan 2013

It makes me pretty irritated to think that it has taken me this long to finally get around to posting my first incoming and outgoing of the year. The blogger.com interface has been a little bit lame lately--it hasn't let me upload photos using Internet Explorer, so I'm now trying from Firefox. Let's hope it works.

Anywho, these past weeks have been insanely busy.
But I've been trying extra hard to find a few moments to read and reply to all of the wonderful mail that I have received this month.

Let me share it with you:

A birthday card from my dear A., in Australia.

A Chrissie/Update card from the lovely B., in Australia.

...and his stamp choice.

My reply to the lovely B.

I used a lot of different mediums for B.'s reply. It not only had a vast collection of tape and stamp decorations, but I also adorned the letter with the cartoon of one of my favourite cartoonists--Dan Piraro.

Do you get the cute joke?

I wanted to use a nice variety of stamps for this piece. I think I did!

A wonderful piece from the dear B., in Mass.

...and his stamp choice (gotta love that jazz!).

And my three-dimensional reply! I was loving the hints of green mixed with the typewriting accents.

(You really can't go wrong with green!)

My quote for this year. "An idea that is not dangerous is not worthy of being called an idea at all." ~ Oscar Wilde.

Some more typewriter accents + stampography.

The stamp choice on a letter from my dear C., in Florida.

A wonderful Chrissie card from my dear H. and M. in Australia.

I LOVE the 2012 Chrissie stamp collection from AustraliaPost!!

A bit of a surprise--an unexpected letter from dear J., in Mass.

...and my reply. I had been keeping this magazine cut out for a while in the hopes of finding the perfect usage for it. And I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

LOVE those LOVE stamps! But so ready for the "Sealed With Love" 2013 stamps!
As always, another lovely piece from L., in Oklahoma!

...and her perfectly designed stamp choice--a girl after my own heart!

The inside of my reply to L.

...and my colour-coordinated stamp choice!

More magazine cutouts of technicolour dreams!

And the finished product! Huzzah!

A holiday card from M., in Honolulu!

Two wonderful celebratory cards from S., in Australia! (Thank you so much, S!)

And another wonderful piece from L. in Oklahoma!

And that's not all! I have more to share, but I'll put those up later!
Hope you guys enjoyed my (very belated) mail post!

Oh, and get this--something that I have been hearting for a while managed to find its way to me. I can't wait to share it with you...

Good to be back--
